When you delete items, those items are stored in the Recycle bin for a period of time. You can recover these items by going to the Recycle bin, usually available beneath the Quick Launch menu.
Even if you delete items from the Recycle bin, or the timeout for Recycle bin storage is expired, there is still a chance that a site administrator can recover your deleted items from the secondary Recycle bin. Contact your site administrator and check if items are recoverable.
