Did you know that you can attach workflows to users? Go to the People and Groups list and then to Settings->List Settings and you can set up workflow just like on any other list. For example, you can add an approval workflow for new users on the site.
Personally, I just judge people by smell. If you smell right you’re approved by my standards.

Am I using the wrong version (SharePoint 2003) for this?
I cannot se “List Settings” under “Settings” in the People and Groups-list.
