You can isolate a log source category by going to the Operations page in Central Administration, and then to Diagnostic logging. In the Event Throttling section, set ‘All’ to None both for event log and trace log, and hit Ok. Then, return to the diagnostic logging page and set the Category you would like to monitor to a higher level.
