You can create a taskbar shortcut to the 12-hive for quick access to logs and other SharePoint files. To do so, right-click on an empty section of your taskbar and select Toolbars->New Toolbar. Browse to the 12-hive, usually at c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12, and click OK.

The 12-hive refers to the SharePoint installation folder, usually at c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared, web server extensions\12.
This is where you will find all the default features and files for SharePoint.

When you are adding a reference to the Microsoft.SharePoint.dll in Visual Studio, hit the W key in the Add Reference dialog box to quickly find the correct assembly.
Hitting B to find lost bones do not work, I have tried.
