I’ve been trying to read this book, but as a novice whose 30+ years of development experience are primarily on Unix, I found that so far, I’ve only made it through the first 2 chapters. Beginning in Chapter 3, there seemed, to me, to be assumed knowledge that I don’t have – I don’t understand the information about features, event receivers, etc. I’m still trying to read, but it is like trying to read a book on neurosurgery with no medical experience. The text is probably excellent, but it might as well be written in Norwegian… are there some books that one should master before this book?
I have a question about an exercise… Chapter 11, exercise 11-9. Step 2 you state to put the code after the articleField.Update(), but that code was never mentioned before. Help!
Thanks,
Jeremy
